Dr. Anika Goldman has been in the human service field for the past 25 years. After graduating from Harvard University with a Master’s Degree in Human Developmental and Psychology, she worked in home and community based programs to help strengthen families. She then moved to New York City to begin her doctoral studies at Yeshiva University. While there Dr. Goldman worked in hospitals, therapeutic schools and outpatient clinics. Since earning her doctorate and returning to Boston, she has continued to work in clinics where she provided therapy to people of all ages, and supervised clinicians completing their fellowship training. She was chief of a multi disciplinary behavioral health department within a large community health organization, before developing her full time private practice. She now provides individual and family therapy to people of all ages.

Dr. Goldman is particularly interested in issues of young children, including the developmental, regulatory and sensory difficulties that can cause behavioral and social concerns at home and at school. She is also interested in issues of young adults, including issues around self development, launching into the workforce, finding a partner and maybe starting a family. Mindfulness, compassion and connection guide all of her work.

Dr. Marty Krakowsky earned his Masters in Social Work from New York University, and his Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. He began his career in and around New York City working extensively at outpatient, day treatment, and residential programs, and at his own private practice. He eventually relocated to the Boston area, where he continued to provide outpatient care to pediatric and adult populations at a large multi-site, multi-discipline primary care organization. While there he supported pediatric providers, supervised post graduate social workers and psychologists for licensure, and taught in their post graduate fellowship program.

Dr. Krakowsky has extensive experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. He provides a warm, safe, trusting environment where clients are invited to share their stories as they work collaboratively to address their emotional needs.

Ella Laniado is an enthusiastic therapist who graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work. She holds licenses as a Social Worker in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. With a focus on children, adolescents, adults, and families, she has worked in various settings such as inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and schools. Throughout her career, Ella has gained expertise in helping clients with a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, OCD, specific phobias, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.

Marina Long is a supervised clinician at BACC who graduated from the University of Denver’s Counseling Psychology program in 2019. She has worked in a wide range of clinical and research settings, from nonprofit-based afterschool high school counseling services to McLean Hospital’s short-term inpatient unit.

Marina’s practice is grounded in a psychodynamic, interpersonal approach. She utilizes solution-focused therapeutic interventions in clinical practice when pertinent, drawing from her training in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing techniques.
